The case studies below illustrate aspects of the curriculum that some schools wanted to improve in relation to the curriculum aims, and how they planned to achieve this. Each case study includes a profile of the school, a rationale for why that aspect of the curriculum was selected, what their priorities are and how they intend to bring about the change.
While the case studies relate to a particular aim, the plans outlined may have a positive impact on developing qualities in learners related to personal, learning and thinking skills, and the personal development framework.
