Members will find in this latest OFSTED report on ICT in schools some interesting references to the progress being made by DT teachers:
"The strengths of teaching identified in this report stem from other factors as well as government initiatives These include ... and, in design and technology, the provision of high-quality training and software for computer aided design and manufacture (CAD/CAM)."
...and:
"The productive use of ICT tends to be more advanced in design and technology, although even here, there are wide variations"
