Lesson Context
Harvest vegetables used to make a Pizza

Resources Needed
Vegetables, onions, peppers( 3colours), mushrooms, cheese and tomato puree sauce, pizza bases. Clean working surface, utensils , aprons

Teacher Preparation
Vegetables chopped and displayed, cheese grated, sauce jar opened

Project Brief
To prepare and make a Pizza

Design and Manufacture
Children worked in groups of four to spread sauce over large pizza base ,cover with grated cheese then choose spoonfuls of their favourite vegetables to make the topping. One pizza was cooked for children to taste.

Expected Outcomes
Each child took one quarter of the pizza home for family to cook and share
