Mega manufactures a range of equipment and consumables for the manufacture of Printed Circuit Boards.
These products include Artwork Aids, PCB Laminates, Chemicals, Etch Tanks, UV Exposure Units and Drilling Systems. The recently introduced Rota-Spray will etch a circuit board in 90 seconds. A fully priced catalogue is available as is on-line ordering.

New from Mega Electronics is their Sublimation Printing System. This enables schools to print four colour images onto: textiles; signs; labels; mouse mats; coasters and place mats; cnc engraving laminates; vacuum forming sheets; ceramic tiles; drinking mugs; ID badges and plastic business cards and much, much more.
Dye sublimation involves turning a solid (the ink) into a gas and then back into a solid without the liquid stage.
To get started you need a computer, an Epson inkjet printer, a heat press and some sublimation consumables. You start by using PC or Mac and design your image in whatever software you are familiar with. Then print the image in reverse onto one of our special sublimation papers.
Place the printed image on your substrate and secure with heat tape to make sure it doesn’t move. When up to temperature the press is closed and left for, depending on the actual substrate, approximately two minutes.
After pressing the substrate is allowed to cool and the paper removed from the finished printed item which now has the coloured image embedded in its surface.
That’s all there is to it.
