RJH Morrisflex began manufacturing quality industrial machines in 1937. Some forty years later we applied our knowledge of manufacturing machines and introduced a range of equipment to meet the specific needs of education workshops. These grinding, polishing, sanding, vacuum form cutting and tool grinding machines now represent a large portion of the machines we build.
Further refinement of the industrial machines, specifically the safety features, and an in depth study of demand in the market led to the new System 2000 range of machines in the mid nineties. These new machines incorporate special safety guarding, additional electrical safety features including lock-off buttons and a unique knee/thigh stop bar for emergencies making them ideal for educational applications.
At RJH Morrisflex we recognize the materials used in school workshops differ from industrial applications. We therefore offer slower speed polishers suitable for plastics and acrylics as well as useful features such as tilting tables on our vertical bandfacers.
Aware of the problems associated with cutting out vacuum formed moulds in the increasingly popular discipline of plastics, we introduced the revolutionary GERBIL Vacuum Form Cutting Machine. Using the tools supplied as standard with the latest 2020 version, slots and rebates can be achieved on soft woods, MDF and very soft metals in addition to light sanding and flange cutting.
RJH machines are available in bench or pedestal versions, suitable for connection to either a centralised dust extraction system or self contained with integral dust extraction.
